BTAG lets you tag anything with a QR code and remember what's inside. Stick a code on a moving box, a storage bin, or a toolbox. Scan it later with your phone to instantly see the contents, photos, and notes. No more opening every box to find what you need.

Three steps:

• Create a list in the app (e.g., "Kitchen Box #3") and add your items with photos
• Generate a BTAG QR code for that list and stick it on the box
• Scan later with any phone camera to see everything inside

You can also search across all your items by name or even by photo.

No. When someone scans a shared BTAG QR code, it opens a web page in their phone's browser. They don't need to download anything or create an account.

BTAG is currently a web app that works on any device with a browser. Native iOS and Android apps are coming soon. You can add BTAG to your home screen for an app-like experience.

BTAG supports three list types:

• Item Lists for everyday things (what's in this box?)
• Task Lists for checklists with due dates and reminders
• Asset Lists for things worth tracking closely (tools, electronics, valuables)

When you add a photo to an item, BTAG looks at the photo and learns what's in it. Later, you can search by describing what something looks like, not just its name. For example, search "red power tool" and BTAG finds matching photos across all your items.

BTAG can also read text in your photos, like serial numbers or labels, so you can search for those too.

AI credits are used for smart photo features like reading text in photos and filling in item details automatically. One credit processes one photo. Searching by photo is free and unlimited.

Every plan includes a one-time signup bonus (Free: 10, Basic: 30, Pro: 100, Business Pro: 250). Paid plans also receive monthly credits that reset on the 1st of each month. Monthly credits don't roll over. Additional credit packs will be available for purchase in a future update. Purchased credits never expire.

Yes. You choose who can see your lists. You can share a list via QR code or link, and only people you share it with can view the contents. You can also add password protection for extra security.

Deleted items go to the Recycle Bin where they stay for 7 days. You can restore anything within that window. After 7 days, items are automatically removed for good.

Yes. The Free plan includes 1 workspace, 100 MB of storage, item lists, QR scanning, photo search, and 10 welcome AI credits. No credit card required.

Add-ons let you unlock extra features on top of your plan. For example:

• Tasks ($0.99/mo) adds task lists with due dates and reminders
• Assets ($1.99/mo) adds the catalog for tracking valuables and gear
• Locations ($0.99/mo) lets you organise by rooms, shelves, and sites

Pro and Business plans include most modules by default.

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. When you upgrade, you get immediate access to the new features. Annual billing saves 17% compared to monthly.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card details. All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD).

Your data is stored on secure servers in Australia.

Yes. Everything is encrypted. Your connection to BTAG is encrypted. Your stored data is encrypted. Your password is scrambled in a way that even we cannot read it.

No. Your account is completely separate from everyone else's. Other users cannot see your data, even if they tried. Every request is checked to make sure you can only access your own stuff.

No. We do not use Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or any third-party tracking tools. We do not serve ads. We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Yes. Contact support@btag.cloud to request account deletion. We will deactivate your account, delete your content within 30 days, and retain only what is required by law (e.g., financial transaction records).
